I've spent over a decade in Sarasota schools watching smart, capable students struggle — not because they weren't intelligent, but because no one had taught them how to learn.

As a teacher at Pine View School and later as a private academic coach, I discovered that executive function skills are the missing link for so many students. When we address organization, time management, and cognitive strategy — the academic results take care of themselves.

I founded MyAcademicSkills to make expert coaching and high-quality educational resources accessible to every family — whether through personalized 1-on-1 sessions or our growing library of digital tools and printables.

My approach is always warm, strength-based, and deeply individualized. No two students are alike — and neither are our coaching programs.
